Launch of Rawabi 133, the first of 3 Fast Supply Intervention Vessels (FSIV)
Vallianz Holdings has announced the successful launching of Rawabi 133, the first of 3 Fast Supply Intervention Vessels (FSIV) currently under construction. The launching ceremony was held in Vietnam on 27 July 2022, with the presence of Executive Vice Chairman of Vallianz, Mr. Darren Yeo and Head of Engineering, New Building & Technology, Ms. Elisa Woodward.
These 3 sister vessels are 61m in length, equipped with DP2 capability, large cargo capacities and would rank among the top 10% of similar vessels in terms of vessel designed capability and performance upon delivery.
"This memorable event represents a significant milestone in our partnership with Saigon Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd (SSIC)", stated the company officials on company's media handle.
Once complete, all three vessels will work on Saudi Armco contracts in Saudi Arabi to transfer up to 16 crew and 80 personnel, cargo and provide emerged support to the offshore projects in the area.
